Baby #2 is on the way!!!

So I am 15 weeks today and feeling pretty good. I can't believe I am almost to that point where we get to find out the sex of the baby, that will probably be my next post. I need to catch up on the whole summer, but it kind of overwhelms me because we did so many fun things. I will try and get to that. Blogging has just taken a back burner ever since I found out I was pregnant. I found out I was pregnant on August 12th, and I was so excited but also really nervous thinking about having two kids. These kids are going to be about 21 months apart, crazy!!! Chris is excited to have another baby and keeps telling me that it is a boy, we will see if he is right. I have had no special feeling of what the baby is yet so we will see what happens. The picture above is a picture I took two weeks ago, it is just a little baby bump.

We had a party with Chris's side of the family first which are the last set of pictures, the first set of pictures are the party with my side. Makenna had a lot of fun with eating the cake, both times they were chocolate. She got really messy at the first party but not as bad for the second one. She wasn't really into opening the presents, but then once we opened them she was more interested. We had such a fun time celebrating her birthday with family. On her birthday we went to Logan cause Chris was riding in the MS Bike Ride the next day. We didn't do to much to celebrate that day but we still had fun.

One Year Old

So the Miss Makenna is now One!!! Can you believe it has already been a year since we had that small little baby and now she is a little toddler. She walks around and talks a bunch of gibberish, I love it. She is still small in the percentiles for her weight. She is 17 lbs and that is in the 2 percentile.
These are the things that Kenna does at one:
Walking
Eats all sorts of food
Drinks out of a sippy cup
No more bottles or formula
Gets into all of the drawers and cabinets, cause they are so much fun
Loves Walks
I call her miss
Has a big personality that we love
Had her first sleepover with G & G McGuire and was such a good girl
Mimics funny sounds I make
We Love our sweet loveable girl.

11 months old

This little monkey turned 11 months yesterday, sorry I am a day behind. I wanted to post some fun things that kenna is doing right now so I don't forget.

- She stands up to everything and stands up by herself and balances.
- Says a lot of mumbo jumbo but also can say Hi, Bye Bye, Momma, Dadda, and sometimes she will randomly say what or huh.
-Has a lot of personality and is very loud.
-Still sleeps great at night but not so great with naps.
-Gets bored easily so sometimes it is hard to keep her entertained all day.
-Still looks like her daddy.
-Makes me laugh everyday with how funny she is.
-Likes to blow rasberries and has a great time doing it.
-Very tickilish.
-Wears 6-9 month clothes still
-Loves to see kids and then play with them.
-Loves the grass and crawling in it or standing in it.
-Still very curious and wants to look in everything and be into everything, like all the drawers.

We love our Kenna and can't wait to celebrate her 1st birthday in a month, it is going to be so much fun. I look forward to posting pics of that day.

Easter 2010 Better Late than never

On Easter we got together with my family and celebrated Chris's birthday at the same time. It was a way fun day. My mom did a hunt but instead of looking for eggs and candy she had 10 items for each kid which included snack food, bubbles and juice boxes. It was pretty fun and kenna enjoyed getting her different items with daddy. Chris turned 29, my husband is old, just kidding.

Wisdom Teeth

This is such a horrible picture of me after getting my wisdom teeth out but, oh well. Well I had all four of those nasty teeth taken out last thursday. I went to an oral surgeon because there was no way I was going to be awake while they did that. My bottom two were impacted, and those are the ones that are still sore. I felt back to normal by Monday, so Mother's day was not very fun, and it was my first one. I am glad they are out now and I don't have to deal with them anymore. Chris was a big help on thursday watching Kenna for me and then on friday my mom came over and spent the whole day with kenna and I, it was so great. She cooked for me, cleaned, and just kept us entertained. I am so grateful for my mom, she is the greatest ever.

Eight Months Old

So our little munchkin is eight months old as of like two weeks ago. She is becoming so much fun to be with and also can be a little feisty. Can an 8 month old already have a little bit of terrible two's in her? My daughter can as you can see from the picture. So at this stage she is finally sitting up which is so fun for her, she can go from her stomach to a sitting up position. She is all over the place scooting around and then sitting up to getting on her knees and pulling herself up to try and play with something. She is still a very good eater and pretty much eats whatever I give her, which is good. Right now she does not like to get her clothes on, get her diaper changed, get out of the bath, and sometimes feeding her. She likes to put her hands together when I try to feed her and then ends up getting food all over her highchair. She is getting closer to being one which is crazy, I am so excited for her to turn one and it will be a fun party. I want to apologize to everyone for not keeping my blog more up to date but sometimes I have a hard time wanting to do it, but I like to update about the baby girl so I have the memories. Also sorry for not commenting on everyone's blog, I still look at them and love to read about you, I just don't comment but I will try to be better.

Laughing

While I was giving Makenna a bath last night she was laughing so hard, it was so funny. I still give her baths in her baby bath with the sling still on because she won't sit up by herself. She was sitting in that splashing away and kicking her legs like crazy hitting the edge of the tub and just started laughing from her gut. That moment was one of the best because I was laughing so hard which made her laugh even harder. I didn't get it on video because I didn't have a camera right there and Chris was at the gym, I am hoping she does it again so I can show all of you. She is such a bright spot in my life and I love having her around. Sorry again for no pictures, I am just pure lazy to put a picture on right now. I will post Bunco Tournament Soon!!!

7 Months Old and what's been going on.

I am writing this post on my friend Kim's computer in Pahrump Nevada, because I am visiting her right now. It has been fun to hang out with one of my bestest friends this week and her little boy. Anyways so this post is supposed to be about how my baby girl is now 7 months old, it is crazy how fast time flies by. Here are some of the things she is up to now.

1. She likes to roll over to her stomach anytime I put her on the floor and when I lay her down for naps and bedtime. Also when I am trying to change her diaper, which makes it quite a challenge these days to change her.

2. She is starting to try to scoot and possibly crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees but can't go anywhere, which makes her very frustrated sometimes. I am excited to see her crawl but at the same time not sure if I am ready to have her be mobile yet.

3. She eats 4 bottles a day and eats three solid meals a day.

4. Takes somewhat good naps and sleeps 10-11 hours a night.

5. Is a chatterbox sometimes, she loves to say dadadadada and likes to scream when she is excited.

5. Very smiley to anyone that talks to her.

We love our little kenna benna woo. She is the light of our lives and sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. Sorry for no picture with this post but since I am in Nevada and not on my computer, that equals none of my pictures to work with. I came out to Pahrump because first I went to a bunco tournament with kim and a bunch of other people we know in Mesquite. It was a ton of fun and I will have to post pictures when I get back. Spending that first night in a hotel room that we were sharing with Kim and her little family wasn't so much fun. Kenna did not have a good night and was a little turkey, she probably only got 5 hours of sleep that night meaning I only got about that much. Kim's husband watched Kenna and their little boy while we were at the tournament which lasted almost 3 hours (INSANE) it shouldn't have lasted that long, oh well. I am very grateful Steve watched the kids even though they were a handful. Kenna has been good while we are here in Nevada and has slept through the night thank goodness. It has been fun to get away for a little bit, but kenna and I miss Chris and are excited to see him in a couple days.
