Three Months Old

Our little girl is three months old today!!! I can't believe how fast these three months have gone. It has been fun, challenging, exciting, and crazy all at the same time. I love being a mom to this adorable little girl. As you can see from this top picture Makenna has found her thumb, it is so cute but I don't want her to get into a habit of sucking her thumb. We will see if it continues or if she just stops on her own. At three months old Makenna is smiling a lot and recognizes you when you talk to her. She loves to be talked to and be read to. She is sleeping pretty good at night. Most nights she wakes up once but she has done some nights where she sleeps the whole night, which is so great for me. I am excited for this month to see the new things she discovers.

Makenna's Blessing Day

Makenna got blessed this Sunday by Chris and he did such a fantastic job. Thank you to all of our family that came to support us. Thank you to Dani my sister in law who let us use her house to have a get together afterwards. It turned out to be great having it at her house because our place wouldn't have fit everyone and there wouldn't have been anything for kids to do. Makenna looks so adorable in her dress, we borrowed the dress from my nieces, I really didn't want to buy a dress cause they are expensive. Makenna is such a joy in our lives and we are so grateful to have her with us. These are just some of the pictures from the day, I love her expressions in all of the pictures, priceless.
