SURGERY!!!!

So just to let everyone know I have had a problem with my knees now for almost 9 years, I know what you are thinking crazy, me too. I have been seeing an arthritis doctor because that is what I thought it was. I guess not, I have had my knee drained many times which is not pleasant. They always tested the fluid and couldn't figure out anything from it. So my husbands uncle Mark suggested I go see an orthopedic, he referred me to a sports medicine doctor who specializes in weird cases which is what I have. I went and saw him and he said that he thought it was something called a plycha ( I don't know how to spell it) it's basically a piece of tissue that is in your knee that you are born with but as you get older it goes away. Well some people it just stays and can cause inflammation and swelling. So he first had me try physical therapy to see if it helped which it didn't, so I went back and he referred me to a surgeon. The surgeon looked at my knee and said alright the best option is to go in there with a scope and see what we are dealing with, but he thinks I have that plycha thing to. Sooo, I get to go have surgery on Monday September 8th sometime that day. This is my first surgery ever, I am a little nervous, but it shouldn't be too bad. I am so sick of doctors lately, it is nice to get time off of work to go to my appointments though. Hopefully this will fix the problem, they are only doing my right knee which is my problem child as I like to call it. I also have problems with my left knee so I might have to have that one taken care of later on. Wish me LUCK, I am going to need it!!!
